How to Set Huawei E583C APN (Access Point Name)

All Huawei E583C users, do you want to change your network operator, or if your router is a unlocked one, how to set it? Do you know? Now following the below steps, you can change your Huawei E583C APN settings.

Note: Make sure your E583C is connected to your PC and the connection manager software has successfully installed.

Step 1:

Open the connection manager (or open http://192.168.1.1 if connected by WiFi).

Step 2:

Enter password (default password is 'admin'), and login.

Step 3:

Under the 'Settings' option, select Dial-up > Profile Management. At the bottom of the 'Profile Management' page, you can see the ‘New’ option, select it.

Step 4:

Now fill these blanks:  ‘Profile Name’ – Anything you want (e.g. Vodafone Profile), ‘Connection Number’- *99# (set by default), ‘UserName’ – Your network operator’s username (See below Picture for details), ‘Password’ - Your network operator’s password (See below Picture for details), ‘Authentication’ – PAP, APN - Your network operator’s APN (See below Picture for details), IP Address – Dynamic.

Step 5:

Click Save > Continue

Step 6:

Select Dial-Up > Mobile Connection  on the left of the menu.

Step 7:

Select your new profile from the 'Profile List' drop down menu (e.g. Vodafone Profile)

Step 8:

Click Apply
